Automatic deletion and high data security
The DAHLE ShredMATIC® 300 (35322) is designed for users who want both ease of use and an enhanced level of confidentiality. The unit has an automatic feeding system that allows you to shred up to 300 sheets (80 gsm) in one cycle and up to 9-11 sheets in manual mode. Documents are shredded into 2 × 15 mm particles complying with security class P-5, making the shredded information virtually unrecoverable and suitable for documents containing personal, financial or other sensitive data.
The security levels (P-1 to P-7) indicate the level of granularity of document destruction and the sensitivity of the information involved. P-1 to P-2 are for non-confidential documents, P-3 for internal use documents, P-4 is considered the minimum level for personal data and is in line with GDPR requirements, P-5 to P-6 are for highly confidential information, and P-7 is for highly sensitive information requiring maximum security. The higher the P level, the smaller the particles destroyed and the greater the data protection, so the choice of the appropriate level depends on the sensitivity of the documents to be destroyed. The standard is set by the International Organisation for Standardisation and is the international benchmark for document destruction.
